The managers of the Sloane Club Hotel like to think of it as a home-from-home in London. With 138 bedrooms and 20 serviced apartments, it offers some of the finest value rooms in London. For such a central location, two of the most valuable assets are privacy and security. Once through our discreet front door, life inside the Club feels a world away from the busy streets outside and guests feel total confidence in the friendly and long-serving staff.
The feel of the bedrooms is classically English, with traditional furniture, fine linens and cottons, fully lined curtains and wool carpets. Colours are calm and restful, with discreet use of patterned fabrics and cushions. Bathrooms feature full-length baths as well as showers. All rooms are equipped with flat screen televisions and radios, data ports for broadband internet access, hairdryers, tea and coffee-making facilities, safes, trouser presses and telephones with answering service.
The walls of the property’s reception rooms are lined with a fine collection of art work and a series of works by well-known British cartoonists, many of which are for sale. The Drawing Room, with its tranquil atmosphere and fine proportions, is the perfect place to meet friends or to enjoy morning coffee or afternoon tea. Double doors lead to the light-filled Garden Room, which has pretty views over the private gardens next door. The cosy, wood panelled bar opens into a quiet Reading Room with wing-backed armchairs and a wide selection of newspapers and magazines. The Restaurant is a glamorous and stylish room with sumptuous seating, soft lighting and private alcoves as well as stunning signature pieces.
