The Chamberlain Hotel is housed in a Georgian building with a stucco and brownstone façade, which, though updated with modern windows, blends in well with the architecture of the surrounding area. The medium sized lobby features dark, wood-panelled walls and a compact seating area. The 64 guestrooms are appointed in a traditional style, with beige, striped wallpaper, carpeted floors and dark wood furnishings. Though the décor in some of the rooms looks a little tired, all are clean and decently maintained, as are the en suite bathrooms. The Chamberlain's restaurant and pub-style bar have a formidable reputation for fine dining and superior ale.
