Thistle Kensington Gardens is one of the rare four star hotels in London that can boast royal neighbours. In fact, the “house next door” to Thistle Kensington Gardens hotel is Kensington Palace, former out-of-town retreat of William III, birthplace of Queen Victoria and, more recently, home of Diana, Princess of Wales.
The hotel is near Paddington Station, home of the Heathrow Express rail service from Heathrow airport. Queensway Underground Station is a few minutes walk from the Hotel and is also near Edgware Road. Plus there’s no shortage of things to do, with London’s bustling West End nearby just a short cab, bus or tube ride away, or a 15 minute walk.

very convenient for the theatre... opposite hyde park and an easy walk to portabello road. ... Queensway tube station is a 5 minute walk away ... Straight across Kensington Gardens opposite and after a 20 minute walk you're in the museum district....
