As with many Knightsbridge properties, the Enterprise Hotel occupies a row of converted Georgian townhouses with impressive red brick and white stucco façades. Varying in size from small to medium, the 100 guestrooms feature plain décor enlivened by colourfully patterned bed linen and light wood furnishings. All are clean and decently maintained, as are the compact, en suite bathrooms with shower only. The hotel’s Earl’s Restaurant can accommodate up to 50 people and offers an à la carte menu of international and traditional English cuisine, complemented by an impressive wine list. Open only to residents, the lobby bar, with its daily menu of lighter dishes, is the perfect venue in which to meet up before an evening out or enjoy a nightcap upon returning. Recently refurbished, it boasts antique features that include 400-year-old beams from a ship, church pews made into bar seats and tables, and stained-glass covering part of the ceiling.
