Overall, The Gore wins exactly the kind of enthusiastic response you would expect from a hotel in this class. The only criticisms guests report are minor niggles to do with smallish rooms and loud music in the bar.

The hotel is situated between Knightsbridge and Kensington, opposite the 'Queen's Gates' to Hyde Park. It is located just around the corner from the Royal Albert Hall and moments from Kensington Palace. Knightsbridge shopping - including Harrods and Harvey Nichols - is just a short stroll away. It 5 minutes’ walk to Kensington High Street, the Museums of South Kensington and within easy reach of the West End.
